| | | | Job Description | GeoCGI is seeking a GIS/Geospatial Analyst experienced with geospatial intelligence processes and applications and who will be responsible for geospatial analysis, imagery exploitation, data management and GIS visualization capabilities in support of a joint intelligence customer/program. Responsibilities include:
* Research, assess, integrate, manipulate and exploit digital imagery and geospatial data from intelligence databases and various ancillary sources in support of all-source analytic products.
* Use GIS technology and data to create information, characterize events and discover relationships and trends in support of operational needs and requirements.
* Develop, manipulate and maintain geospatial data and databases for efficient storage and retrieval of relevant geospatial information.
* Identify GIS shortfalls, intelligence gaps, and collections challenges and recommend mitigations.
* Interface with other Geospatial Analysts and Sources as counterparts from other government and intelligence organizations.
* Develop clear and accurate geospatial analysis products for visualization and rapid decision making.
* Exploitation of imagery and raster data products for spatial analysis. | | | | | Job Requirements | The following requirements are desired skill sets and capabilities for the potential candidate:
* Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, or related field
* Familiarity with the Asia-Pacific Region.
* At least 8-10 years experience in research and exploitation of advanced geospatial datasets.
* Proficiency with ESRI software products and data formats including the current ArcGIS suite and creating, converting and maintaining numerous geospatial layers, fused imagery, and digital image land based data and overlays.
* Proficient communication, written and oral presentation skills for briefing executive leadership and decision makers.
* Active Top Secret clearance. | |
