| | | | Job Description | -Maintaining and debugging current applications
-Development of high quality software and additional functionality for existing applications
-Responsible for development of assigned features on one or more projects including the geospatial domain, as part of the Solutions Development Team
-Creation and documentation for assigned features and activities
-Active part in software lifecycle activities including design, analysis, development and deployment of applications, including software related to database application systems | | | | | Job Requirements | -Over 3 years of experience in software development using .NET 2.0 or later platform.
-Experience with J2EE is a plus
-Experience with .NET languages like VB.NET and C#, C++ is a plus
-Experience with data aware applications development (ADO.NET with SQL Server, Oracle)
-Solid understanding and experience in source code control systems.
-Strong OOAD (Object Oriented analysis and Design Skills)
-Strong computer programming, database and problem solving skills.
-Experience with Desktop, Web (ASP.NET). RIA (Silverlight) and SOA development models is a plus
-Hands-on programming experience with SharePoint services 3.0/MSS 2007 or later
-Hands-on experience with GIS software and geospatial databases is desirable
-Intermediate understanding on Geographic Information Systems and mapping concepts
-Knowledge of software Agile/Extreme Programming (XP) methodology is of particular interest
