| | | | Job Description | The Role:
• Reporting to the General Manager as part of the senior management team you will be responsible for providing a multi disciplined approach to all managerial aspects with particular emphasis on delivering excellent service standards and improving internal technical systems.
• Managing a multi skilled team of Project Managers and Consultants in ensuring delivery of service through effective and high standard of project management.
• You will contribute to the preparation and delivery of the Annual Operating Plan that is aligned with the company budget and ensure effective planning, monitoring and utilization of consulting resources.
• You will achieve project profitability through cost management initiatives and capitalizing on future growth opportunities by creating a culture where continuous learning and development are encouraged and valued.

You will be responsible for the successful and commercially sound delivery of consulting products and solutions to a wide range of industries. As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations and execution of projects and contracts and ensure high levels of client service including managing client take-ons, daily monitoring and rebalancing. You will also take ownership of process controls.
Additionally the role will involve developing relationship with both internal and external parties so as to be a key point of contact for client queries and to maintain and enhance the reputation for clients' service through effective and continual inter-action with clients,
With the ability to work on own initiative in a challenging and start up environment, the role requires someone with the ability to think strategically and to drive projects forward.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the SHERQ aspects required to operate an effective consultancy, a track record supporting and enhancing operations in a growth business, and the experience to manage and develop consultants. You are very likely to be a practicing consultant/consulting manager, have sound commercial knowledge and skills to develop technical & commercial proposals and tenders in the SHERQ business. You will have good client relationship, Business Development Follow Up and presentation skills.
