Autodesk’s location-based services are the #1 leader in carrier-deployed and hosted location-based infrastructure and applications worldwide. We supply white-label applications to most of the major carriers in North America and are expanding rapidly in Europe. Within the next two years, almost all new handsets will have embedded location technology. Autodesk has established itself as the leader in enabling that technology into useful applications fundamentally changing how people interact. We're seeking a Solutions Integration Analyst with exceptional problem solving skills and strong interest in supporting location services solutions for the wireless industry. If you're into creating and maintaining all geographically oriented content in support of Location Based Services, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team involved in an exciting/fast growing global industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and maintain mapping support files in support of the LocationLogic LBS platform and Autodesk Insight LBS application suite.
• Create and maintain visually appealing, highly useable maps targeting various display output devices.
• Create and maintain an Oracle Spatial database containing the features required to perform shortest path and proximity analysis.
• Create and maintain a set of a global geocoding datasets.
• Consult and advise project management, professional services, and engineering staff regarding the use of geographic content within the LocationLogic platform and the Autodesk Insight applications.
• Create and maintain a large repository of the all files resulting from the above noted responsibilities.
• Research and develop new geographic data integration techniques to provide a best of breed solution for location based services content.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years experience developing and deploying successful enterprise GIS/data warehouse applications and services.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Minimum of two years experience in the field of enterprise GIS applications/services design with strong data integration background/education
• Hands-on experience importing, assembling, customizing of base map data to support location based services
• Hands on experience working with spatial objects inside of Oracle including spatial indexing techniques.
• Working knowledge of the design and deployment of Oracle tables containing spatial objects for use in the Location Based Service market.
• Hands on experience developing Oracle transformation logic using PL/SQL.
• Hands on experience with the production and integration of the required data elements to support geocoding operations.
• Hands on experience working with data integration packages such as FME (safe software).
• Working knowledge of a wide range of GIS software packages including Autodesk Map, Autodesk MapGuide, Arcview, ArcCatalog/ArcMap or MapInfo, etc.
• Working knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of effective digital map performance tuning and visualization techniques including use of cartographic standards, data generalization, etc.

USEFUL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Familiarity with packaging digital content for the distribution on the Unix and Windows.
• Familiarity with change management control processes
• Familiarity with international standards used for representing geographic information including GDF, GML, etc.
• Familiarity with international standards used for working with real-time traffic information including RDS/TMC.
• Familiarity with Unix scripting environment and tools used for automating data processing, conversion and loading
• Familiar with standard database management practices specifically related to Oracle Spatial
