Job Description:
HDR is in need of a GIS Analyst to work in our Lexington,KY office. They will conduct advanced spatial analyses using ArcView, ArcGIS or other GIS software, and must show proficiency in developing vector or raster spatial analysis models. The GIS Analyst must also have the ability to prepare simple scripts in AML, Avenue, VBA or other GIS scripting language.
| | | | | Job Requirements | - BS in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Sciences or related field required. MS preferred.
- Certification in GIS with 1+ years practical experience in GIS, or 2+ years practical experience without a degree or certification.
- Software knowledge of ArcGIS, and ESRI GIS Extensions, MS Access/SQL, Excel, VBA, VB and Trimble.
- Also requires GPS data collection experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
