| | | | Job Description | 3001, Inc., a leading provider of geospatial data production and analysis to the federal government, and the public and private sector is seeking an IT Data Manager for its Peachtree City, Georgia location. The individual will receive, track, archive, and distribute incoming and outgoing digital data associated with 3001’s geospatial work, primarily airborne image acquisition and processing.
Qualified candidates must possess excellent problem solving, organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated. Must be able to show initiative in preparing detailed documentation. Must be able to perform as a team member and communicate effectively with management at all levels, as well as with technical personnel and customers.
| | | | | Job Requirements | Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Data Manager will be expected to:
- Review data files for accuracy and identify content errors
- Run archival programs
- Load data files to support the various products
- Assist with problems relating to data files, data templates and catalogue content
Minimum Requirements:
Strong analytical and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Strong organization skills
Must be team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ADIC family of LTO-3 tape libraries
Basic level programming skills
Familiarity with common CAD, GIS and image file formats
