Ensoco, Inc., a respected positional data management company, seeks qualified data management specialist to work in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) group, with the analysis, production and delivery of digital and hard copy products. | | | | | Job Requirements | Requirements/Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in a science field, or in pursuit of, with 1-2 years experience.
2. Basic understanding of geodesy.
3. Proficiency with seismic data management database systems. TRANGO expertise or equivalent desired.
4. Proficiency in the use of ESRI suite of products especially ESRI ArcMap 9.x
5. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
6. Basic understanding of the seismic industry, especially in regards to data acquisition.
7. Position will require project management and will involve seismic data loading of positioning data in support of oil company operations
8. Position also requires supervision of several GIS technicians and overall responsibility of data flow, QC and client deliverables.
9. U.S. Citizenship or green card residency required.
