| | | | | | | Job Description | Qualified individual to work in the GIS group, assisting with the analysis, production and delivery of digital and hard copy products.
Audit and map seismic nav. data and well locations collected from various data sources, identify and resolve positional discrepancies. Register and digitize seismic shot point base maps using ArcView 9.2. Create SQL scripts to perform basic routines in the utilization of a database. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned. | | | | | Job Requirements | Bachelor's degree in science, or in pursuit of, with 1-2 yrs. experience.
Basic understanding of geodesy.
Proficiency in ESRI suite of products especially ESRI ArchMap 9.x
Familiarity with Microsoft office suite.
Basic understanding of seismic industry, especially in regard to data acquisition.
Thoroughness and attention. to detail, especially in reviewing and auditing information from data sources.
