ASSOCIATE DATA RESOURCES ANALYST – LIMITED TERM (APPLICATIONS PROGRAMMER)
At the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) and Springs Preserve, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the community.
The LVVWD provides water to more than one million people in Southern Nevada and is one of seven member agencies that make up the SNWA, an agency that addresses Southern Nevada’s unique water needs on a regional basis.
The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre family attraction, featuring museums, galleries and gardens that convey a message of sustainable living in a fun, hands-on way while celebrating the history of Las Vegas.
GENERAL PURPOSE: Under general supervision, the Associate Data Resources Analyst – Limited Term performs or assists in performing a wide variety of applications development, data management, research and data analysis duties in support of Groundwater Resources/Data Resources Division projects and services.
The ideal candidates will possess applications programming experience using VB.Net/ASP.Net, Coldfusion or similar programming languages. Experience using relational databases such as Oracle is highly desirable.

The term of this appointment will be a maximum of 24 months. All persons hired into Limited Term (LT) positions will be required to sign a term of employment letter specifying conditions of employment.
Salary: $67,768 annually
Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm, M-F
