ASSOCIATE DATA RESOURCES ANALYST (GEOSPATIAL DEVELOPER)
At the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) and Springs Preserve, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the community.
The LVVWD provides water to more than one million people in Southern Nevada and is one of seven member agencies that make up the SNWA, an agency that addresses Southern Nevada’s unique water needs on a regional basis.
The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre family attraction, featuring museums, galleries and gardens that convey a message of sustainable living in a fun, hands-on way while celebrating the history of Las Vegas.
GENERAL PURPOSE: Under general supervision, the Associate Data Resources Analyst performs or assists in performing a wide variety of applications development, data management, research and data analysis duties in support of in support Groundwater Resources/Data Resources Division projects and services.
The ideal candidate will possess experience as a VB.Net Developer with experience in Geospatial Systems related development. A strong background developing in spatial products, such as ESRI’s ArcGIS, ArcObjects or ArcServer Products, as well as Microsoft .NET, Oracle SDO, Object Oriented Programming and related applications is highly desirable.
Salary: $67,768 annually
Hours of Work: 8am – 5pm, M-F
