| | | | Job Description | Kelly Engineering Resources is currently seeking several GIS Specialists for positions with a Defense Contractor in the Nashville, TN area. Excellent opportunity and growth potential!
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree in Georgraphy, Earth Science, CS or related field, with a practical GIS background; prefer 3 to 5 years of experience.
Experience with geospatial data collection, analysis, and/or conversion with ESRI products (ArcMap, ArcToolBix, ArcInfo). Preference given to candidates with experience in ArcSDE.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse team of people.
Must be able to multi-task and troubleshoot for technical solutions.
Duties would include:
Compiling georgraphic feature or terrain data from government and commercial imagery sources following detailed feature extraction guidelines.
Performing topology checks and other data quality checks.
CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THE NASHVILLE, TN AREA AND MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
