Tessellations Inc. is looking for a seasoned GIS developers (ArcMap Desktop and Server) to join our growing company of consultants and developers. We are looking for creative individuals with entrepreneurial spirit. Come join us and help us grow and create your own department to provide GIS development services to our existing consulting practice.
Job Requirements
• B.S. with five years of experience (or an M.S. with one year experience) in Computer Science or related field with good GIS (Geographic Information Systems) knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Programming experience with ArcObjects, Experience with ArcGIS Server and ArcSDE.
• Experience with object-oriented programming principles and software development using Visual Studio 2005/2008, (C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET).
• Experience with web programming using ASP.NET, AJAX, XHTML, CSS, XML, VBscript, JavaScript, and SVG.
• Experience with scripting languages using VBA, Python, etc….
• Knowledge and previous use of remotely sensed data is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Excellent written skills.
• Ability to multi-task, self-direct, and contribute to team efforts under demanding deadlines.
