I have more than eight (8) years of experience as a Land Surveyor in Botswana, covering; Cadastral surveying, production of maps for title deeds and registration, data collection, data storage and manipulation using Microstation, ArcGIS: ArcView, ArcEditor, ArcInfo (ArcMap, ArcToolbox, ArcCatalog).

Duties:
•Signing direct and or supervised survey diagrams/maps as registered Land Surveyor in the Republic of Botswana,
•Attending Land Board meetings to submit reports and provided land use related professional technical services and advice to the land board,
•Layout/Plans computations and surveying,
•GPS surveying and data post-processing.
•Preparation of data/general plans using Microstation software for land registration and title deeds,
•Computerization of field information: spatial data collection, creation, manipulation, and map graphics,
•Data (spatial and attribute) storage and updates using ArcGIS,
•Facilitate conversion of digital cadastral maps(.dgn, .dxf, .dwg) to GIS environment (shape files and coverages). Also assist in database design to manage plots surveys and ownership (transactional data stored in access).
