| | | | Other Information | Through my experience as a lab manager, I recognize the importance of developing plans and processes to complete tasks efficiently and unsupervised in order to meet project deadlines. For one project, I managed several months worth of sample testing. These samples required multiple tests per specimen, and prioritizing was necessary to maximize efficiency and meet strict project deadlines.
I am interested in training and professional development opportunities in the GIS field. I have limited experience with GISKey, but I recognize it as a valuable workplace tool. In Autumn 2008, I am enrolling in a GIS certificate course. I look forward to using my GIS training and professional experience to benefit both myself and the company.
